I've been searching for onstar every day on the app store and today I finally got something. I just installed it. I'll post a review once I use it.

BTW, today I noticed I could get weather, traffic and stock information from the virtual assistant.

Alas, Onstar support requires the MyLink application which is still not available. For the time being you can only read the abridged version of the manual, find a dealer, mark the location where you parked and schedule services (?). You can also get descriptions of the dashboard indicators, but that content seems to not be online yet. I'll keep waiting, patiently... Or not :)

Works perfectly for me, all the vehicle stats and remote start, lock, unlock, ect. Best app of 2010...can't wait to use the remote start this winter in MN while inside buildings, at the mall, ect. Worth the price of onstar alone

Does the remote start work in vehicles that don't have the factory remote start option?
No, basically the remote has the same capabilities as your remote (but with 'unlimited' range) and provides the status information contained in the DIC: gas, oil, mpg, tire pressure, odometer. Along with your hands free minute balance and a shortcut to call an OnStar advisor.

I downloaded the app to my 3G iPad and it is very cool. Just being able to unlock the car if needed is a neat feature and being able to check the fuel level, tire pressures, MPG, etc. is amazing technology when you think about it.
