I got my i4 Nox with 15 miles exactly on it.. It SUCKED gas like it was going out of style.. Now with 415 miles on it I can see a huge improvment on fuel economy.. I am no longer getting 100 miles to a half a tank, but almost 200 miles on a quarter..

FYI - the gas gauge is not accurate enough to be using it to "calculate" or even estimate MPG. At least mine, is very inaccurate and non-linear !

I have 26k on my 2012 V6 1LT and at 67 mph I am running about 1600 rpm. To get 2K RPM I've got to go about 84 mph

Interesting - I would have expected the opposite, since the 3.6 seems to get better mileage.

FYI - you may already know this, but miles will have no effect of the RPMs that you will see at various speeds - unless your tranny is toast.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but with all I have read, I was under the impression that the 3.6L got the same gas mileage as the 3.0L (even with the increased liters).

Actually, most people with the 3.6 are reporting better MPG than the 3.0 - even though, last I had checked, Fuelly.com does not substantiate this.

3.6 has 120% more displacement than the 3.0 with the extra 36.6cu".
3.6 is 150% larger than the 2.4 .

Sorry to be picky, but

the 3.6L only has 20% MORE displacement than the 3.0L

and the 3.6 is only 50% LARGER than the 2.4L

True but it doesn't stop most marketing instances to use 120% and 150% were 20% and 50% are an actual representation.

I can tell you, that we never did at GE ! Trust me on that one. People were very sticklers when it came to stuff like that. Hence my picking on you ! Yes - others do it - but they "shouldn't".
