I joined recently.
I have a Suzuki XL7, which is essentially a Chevy Equinox.
I posted in the Suzuki forum, but it's very quiet over there. Not much help.
This vehicle is GM Theta platform, built at GM Canada.
Exactly the same as Equinox, except for badge, front grill, some trim.
The fenders, engine, computer and controls are all the same as Equinox.

I wrote a post asking for help in the Equinox forum, but since I was new someone had to approve it.

It never was. It was not posted by the mod. Filtered.

It had nothing for sale, nothing other than a question about timing chain issues. Not spam at all.
Do you have an explanation? This forum has a place for GM Theta Platform, which this engine and the rest of the car is, and I have the same timing chain problem the Equinox guys are posting about.

I need help from the smart guys, and they are over here.

Why did someone discard my post? As I said, the Suzuki car forums, Suzuki went out of the car business in the US so there is very little traffic there.

Well, only the one about the posts not appearing.

The one about the timing chain is not.

I would like to see a response to that one.

I don't need the answer to this post to fix the vehicle.

I wish I could find the post, in my outbox or anywhere. It's disappeared. It's a pita to write a comprehensive post and have it just disappear.

Maybe I will try to post over there again. I know why new members posts are looked at by mods, because of all the spammers.

But this was about timing chains. Heh.
