Just making sure I'm not missing anything... I was cleaning bug guts off the front of my Equinox today...and near the bottom of the front bumper, below the license plate, there is the short, but wide hollowed out area of the bumper, you look through that and can see the radiator....is there supposed to be a kind of grill there? Is there supposed to be something there that would stop rocks from hitting the radiator? Just seems odd to me, and want to make sure I'm not missing some part or something...

Mine has a plastic U shape piece there...I hit some semi retread last month on interstate and had to get the radiator, condenser, plastic bumper molding, and this U bracket piece replaced. After the accident i could see the entire lower half of the condenser below the license plate, now that it is fixed all i see is like 1 row of condenser coils, the rest is this U bracket. I will try and get out this weekend and take some pics and post them for you if you like.
