Hey everyone.
My wife and I are just about to pull the trigger on a 2007 Equinox with 70,000KM.

I was browsing this forum and thought I would regester to get the straight poop on these vehicles.

So.......

My wife is an outside sales person who will be putting 80,00+k a year on the odometer.
(we are in Canada so KM not M lol)

Anyways I was wondering what I should look out for or what are some of the real issues concerning these cars.
I have read reviews and the such but figure it would be better to come right to the source.

The wife has fallen in love with it and I want to make sure we get the right vehicle.

Thanks.

Hello, sorry if this is a little late... Not too many 1st Gen owners on here.. My 05 which I've had for little over two years now has been a good vehicle to me! The only problem I've had with it is the head gaskets. If your 07 ever starts to get Hot and then cools down when you get some speed, might want to check out the head gaskets. I changed the water pump and flushed the coolant a few times before we figured out it has to be the head gaskets... other then this I love my 1st Gen Nox!

I'd look out that there is going to be almost 100000 miles on this vehicle by the end of your first year of ownership 80000 k =50000miles

Unless you plan to trade every year, I'd go with a VW TDI. You can save a ton in fuel expense, and get engine longevity.
