Yes, the fuse type LEDs are much better in the vanity mirror locations. I changed those also, but did not post any bulbs.

Any fuse type should work fine there as they are operated off an actual manual switch in the visor.

Good Picture!

I replaced all my dome lights in my terrain with red led's a long time ago. I recently put in red accent leds under the seats and along the floors and put white led's in the domes. I love it! I have not attempted to swap the visor mirror lights though. We're those covers easy to get off? What bulbs dos you use?

I had a remote with dimming and pulsing for all the accent lights but I managed to burn it out so I put a switch in under the driver seat.

The vanity mirror lights come off very easily. Just a small flat screw driver carefully under one side edge. If you look closely, you can see where there are two tabs molded into the edge.

Thanks! I'll have to pull up super bright led's after the weekend and make another purchase. Working with all the lighting makes me want to go down the HID road rather than blacking out all the chrome as my next project.

+3 years now and ALL LEDs I retro fitted (and shown earlier in this thread) are still working fine. No issues. . no burn outs.

do you happen to have a list of which bulbs you used where?

Going to try and purchase some bulbs for our cars soon.
If you search on Ebay for 194 bulbs types, you will find several different types and sizes. Some also CANBUS and other not.
View Post #5 for the interior Dome and Footwell bulbs. Photo 1,2 & 4 LED bulb type will all work. You can tell the one in photo #4 is a CANBUS since it has resistors. You only need one pair of CANBUS bulbs in the front roof lights so the center and rear Dome lights can be regular non CANBUS 194 LEDs as pictured in photos 1 and 2. So just view LEDs on Ebay for ones like shown in the pictures.
A set like these here would do all the interior Dome, map and footwell lights. All are CANBUS so no worries.

Post #6 shows Samsung LED bulb types that I used for back up lights and these can also be found on Ebay.

Lastly, this LED bulb below is the best type for use as license place lights due to the small space in that location.

did the footwell and overhead lights today. Nice difference in the day. cant wait to check it out tonight.

I found the bulb sockets did not always make good contact and I have to wiggle them to get to a good spot. Will monitor that as I drive it.

You might want to check that the small wires on the base of the LEDs are lined up straight with the contacts in the sockets. Also, , make sure the are seated in all the way.

I just did the interior and rear exterior lights on my 2017 over the last few weeks. Here's a few things to watch for. The original post here recommends LEDs that use the 5050 SMD. That was good advice at the time, but some things have changed. I would recommend now using LEDs that run the 2835 SMD. If you were unaware, those numbers are quite literally just measurements of the smd chips. A 5050 is 5.0mm x 5.0 mm, a 2835 is 2.8 x 3.5 mm. The 2835 are designed to be about 20% brighter than 5050, with better heat dissipation, and slightly less power draw, at 0.2 watts versus 0.24. The biggest advantage, however is the smaller size. Since it is a substantial amount smaller than a 5050, you can fit more of them on a small bulb, effectively doubling light output on many bulb sizes.

Here is what I am running in my 2017 Nox.

My Map/Dome for both rows and the cargo area, inside the center console, and the license plate lights are running a total of 8 of these, which have 12x 2835 smd each. Very white, very bright.

My reverse lights are running these Auxito bulbs which each have 15x 2835 SMD. They looks great and every family member who has seen them has instantly handed me $10 to get them a set too.

Agree. . . I updated some of the LEDs in post #31 last year which includes some 2835 LED chips. Only the initial posts had 5050 chips since that was what was available.
Good update.

A search for "194 LED Bulbs" will turn up many choices.

Also, care must be taken in some of the dome light locations as the size of a LED replacement may be too large and barely fit or bind too closely to the plastic lens over the LEDs. Also, only one pair of CANBUS type bulbs are necessary for the interior dome lights. That way, smaller ones can be used elsewhere.

Lastly, the size of the 2835 has resulted in some vendors to populate the LED with too many chips in some cases resulting in more heat in a smaller area and some even go a bit nuts and cram 18, 20, to +24 2835 chips on a bulb which gets so densely populated heat does become a problem.

Yes, there are tons available. I tried a few options for the domes, starting with some slightly smaller than the first pic I attached where it had one LED on each side and one on the end. They were nice and white and just barely smaller, but just not as bright as I wanted. The larger reverse bulbs I posted would actually fit in the front dome/map position, and were insanely bright, but I was just curious if they fit. They definitely did not fit in the second row or cargo light. I am very impressed with the 12 smd lights in the domes and license plate lights especially. They look great. I went all Canbus, but I agree that's not necessary, just came as a 10 pack. 8 in the nox, 2 in my brother-in-law's '19 Sierra license plate lights.

Has anyone whose nox did not come with footwell lights added them? I see I have the big rectangular hole where it would snap in on the passenger side. Is that the only one? I imagine I could find one at the junkyard and just snip it. Just curious if the wiring is still in the neighborhood of the footwell to make it easy.

There is a thread here. . "Footwell Lights For Less " I think.

The rectangular holes are for footwell lights and there used to be factory wiring stuffed and taped behind the glove box till 2014 models or so. There should be a hole on the drivers side as well just above the gas pedal.

The lights that fit are these on ebay. $15 a pair, but after 2014 you would have to do the wiring. I think it is described in the thread I linked,
