I'm new here, just thought I would say hello!! We went from a 2007 Tahoe to this little guy for my wife + kids. It seems like a nice vehicle, we purchased the twin dvd option as well as the sunroof and 18 inch wheels with the brown and black leather interior. It rides nice and we're averaging 27 mpg so it's much better than the 16 mpg we were getting in the tahoe. I wish the seats were a little wider, I'm 5'11 260 lbs (mostly muscle) but again it's the wifes car so I don't drive it much. Anything I should watch out for etc.?

Congratulations!! as far as what to look for: are you speaking of possible issues? In that vein, I've had mine since last November and have had absolutely no issues. It took me a few tries to figure the remote start, other than that. nada.

This is my first new vehicle since 1976 and I'm very interested in doing some mods to it and have done a dash kit, 19" oem wheels, have a wood steering wheel on order. Gearhead on this forum did a 3rd brake light decal on their Terrain. I think this is a cool way to personalize your vehicle and have decided to go with a "bowtie" decal when I order.

I'm getting an average of 22mpg at 7,000 miles. From this forum, i've learned to reset the "average milage" at each tank of gas.

You didn't mention the trim option? LTZ?

The mocha steel was my 1st choice too, however, there was none to be found in Arizona with the brownstone interior and that interior was a non-negotiable, so i have the black (love it.....but....clean it often and a bunch).

I purchased mine in Arizona As well but it took 8 weeks for delverey, we decided we wanted to order it so we could get it the way we wanted it. It was tuff waiting that long.
I normally order my new cars, but my dealer did a search for the car I wanted (2LT Cardinal - Chrome - Moonroof) and had it all right on teh lot except it had Leather interior. We split the diffrence (glad I did) and I went with the leather -- This car has an absolutly great interior....
I"ve had my 2010 for about 1.5 years now, and the only unscheduled dealer visit was for a popped bolt in the driver seat lumbar adjustment and a software reflash for the HVAC system which doesn't apply to your model.
I just happen to see the suv motorweek show and after we saw that show my wife had to have it, so there was no compromise.
