Has anyone tried out one of these? I'm considering it. I listen to a lot of dubstep, and the stock subwoofer is nice, but I think I might like more bass.

Any thoughts?

Yes I agree Matt
Even in today's economy the amount of USA companies who snub or rather loose a sale to a Canadian order.

As I had a audio business it was a challenge at times to get some parts.I did find though, if I made a call most companies would ship to Canada.the only request was to use USPS only. This saved the ripping fromUPS for broker fees....
Then those companies who still would not send to me in Canada, I am lucky to be minutes from the 2 west coast boarder crossings plus a USA address at a boarder town

Other companies who will not allow payment from A Canadian and not ship to my USA address just loose a sale. A sign for me the company is lost it time!!
It's a great thing when aftermarket companies make things specifically for our vehicles. :) Now, if someone could make a new sub that incorporates the ANC for the 4cyl instead of disabling it...I might be more interested. Incidentally...has anyone managed to disable the ANC (or had it fail) and see exactly how much difference it makes? If there isn't much difference, or it mainly works when driving in Eco mode then it might not be worth keeping..
I know someone here is an audiophile...how do these two subs compare??

Would I need an aftermarket amp for this, or would it run on the amp built into the system? Because I have the navigation, and I dont want to be pulling it out and possibly messing things up to install this. I know putting more power to the JL is possible (max 300W) but I'm wondering if it will hit harder then the pioneer installed.

I'm not too sure about things like this, was hoping a possible plug and play type thing, because I dont want to deal with installing another amp

I've been wondering this myself. Maybe someone can just remove the speaker and see what happens?

Without knowing the specs on each driver has I would guess to say that the SPL will differ as well as the FS of the driver.
This will effect the ANC.
Have a read this will give you an idea why.
