I sure hope this isn't a stupid question, but, not familiar with awd stuff. So,.....
2015 terrain, with a wheel off ground and car in neutral, it's very hard to rotate that wheel. Is this normal?
Yes, on a AWD model there are clutches that separate both the front and back wheels and then also inside the differentials that separate the left and right side. If you jack up just one wheel you will get that resistance.
'15 is a full time AWD so drivetrain is ''locked'' front and rear. Easier turning with one side of it with both wheels off the ground if needing to turn a wheel.
