I was lucky...I have a great relationship with the dealer...we have two other GMCs....and had been looking at them since April....when I decided to wait for the 2012 the color, interior and options that I wanted just happened to be in the first shipment they got for the dealership. Go figure ;)

I pick up my new 2012 Terrain onyx black SLT-2 tomorrow at 2:30 so for all who have been asking...the 2012s are at the dealers. :thumb:
I haven't gotten a price from my dealer yet. I ordered a Carbon Black 2012 SLT2 AWD with the new safety features. Build date is August 22nd. I wish GMC would update their site considering you can now order 2012s and they are starting to show up on the lots. :angryfire: :sosad: :banghead:

:worthless:

Let's see some pictures of the changes - infotainment, side-mirrors, etc.

From what my dealer told me the first few months of 2012's wont have the intellilink setup with Pandora and such. They have the 7" screen but don't have the rest of it.

He didn't know if they would be software upgradeable. My assumption is that they will be.

Just got my 2012 SLT-1 AWD Carbon Black Metallic Friday. First sunny day all weekend to take pictures.

A little disappointed that Pandora wasn't on the infotainment system as I was lead to believe. I hope there is an update available once it is added later this year to the production cars.

Pretty happy so far, got the 4-cylinder engine for gas mileage, seems excellent when going about 60 (29mpg), not so good on freeway doing 70 (23mpg). Not sure why the difference.

Only options: 18" rims, power lift gate, and of course the Carbon Black Metallic.

Dealer was wondering why I was holding out for the 2012 in late July. Once they got this on the lot, they agreed the infotainment system is a pleasant upgrade from the 2011 year model.

Nice buy tkpc - Are the cabin accent lights still red?

Yes - I took a picture of the dash inside my garage for you (otherwise I'll forget to tonight) - sorry the quality isn't the best. But you can still get an idea of what the accent lighting looks like.
Thanks for posting... now I'll bug ya about 1 last thing?

Do you have an iPhone?

Are you having any bluetooth connectivity issues with the iPhone and Terrain?

No, I don't have an Iphone. I am still using the original motorola Droid and it doesn't have any issues so far utilizing Bluetooth.

It appears that Apple is the most supported type of device from reading the manual. But all the devices listed are older are I am unsure if the newer devices are supported. To play music from the Iphone the manual says this:

Playing from an iPhone®
This feature supports the following
iPhone model:
. iPhone (3G ‐ 3GS)
To use the iPhone, follow the same
instructions as stated earlier for
using an iPod.

Dealer shows mine as "In Transit"--calling about the price and waiting to hear back.

Looks great! Will be interesting to see if GM left a back door open with regards to navigation on the new infotainment system. The idea of being able to add navigation via a DIY Mod rather than pay GM's high price is intriguing. :thumb:

I think they offer a Nav-lite at a much reduced price. Hopefully, manufacturers will stop gouging on their Nav prices.
