Instrument panel glare

Hi All, just passed 800 miles on my new 2.4L LTZ and while driving locally to break-in my vehicle I have noticed a significant amount of glare on the instrument panel, especially on sunny days. The gauges and DIC look great on cloudy days and at night but when it's sunny it's hard to see the speedometer or digital speed. I think they should have put a greater angle on the plastic cover over the instruments. Otherwise, so far so good.

I have also noticed a few spots that create some glare, good thing about the panel is with cleaning you will likely scratch it up and dull it after awhile some it won't be an issue ;)
Definitely a distortion like appearance making viewing difficult.
I noticed it the first time I drove with the sun shining. It's a reflection from the steering column and rear part of the steering wheel. It should have been a flat black instead of gloss black, thet would have stopped the reflection.
yep..i noticed that too..on sunny days, at times, all i can see is the digital display.
The digital speedo is the only one I use. For some reason I struggle with reading the "analog" one accurately

Yeah thank god for the digital one, the way I sit and move the steering wheel, it blocks the top portion from about 40 to 80 mph so once I reach 40 I'd have no idea how fast I'm going if I didn't have the digital gauge. I think they are too small or crammed in too close together.
Only having large numbers every 20 MPH doesn't help any either. :eek:hno:

I agree. The analog guage is too small and not positioned correctly for easy eye-contact. (I got spoiled on the Corvette.)

I agree! A HUD option for the Nox/Terrain would be nice.
I have the same problem. Had my Nox two weeks now. Reflection makes the analog gauges almost unreadable. A related problem is sun reflecting directly off the chrome shift bezel into the eyes. Those are the only problems so far. This is my first post BTW. :)
