Never overlook the obvious...

Has your Nox been through a car wash recently..."they" are famous for "accidently" rotating the knob so the lights stay on...

Do you have children that love to turn knobs...rotate dials...

An indication that this happened is if your dash illumination is also at it's brightest at night...the dimmer usually operates from....dim to brighter...then brightest...then brightest with interior lights "locked on"...

could it be that simple?

BTW...it's the cars RAP that is turning off the lights after you have shut off the engine and it sits for awhile.

I too have this issue. This just began recently. My interior lights will not shut off at all. I thought it was the dome switch at first, so I ordered a new one. This did not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just a thought , but you might check the door switch that turns the lights on automatically when you open the doors.
Not sure of how those are setup on that year of Equinox's , but I know on my chevy s-10s the little door pin would always break, this not allowing the dome lights to turn off since the truck always thought one of the doors was always open.

Would anyone know the part number or the exact name for the part that controls the interior lights found inside the door?
Hello,

I would be more then happy to let you know your part number for the interior lights found inside the door. If you could send me your VIN number I can look up your specific part number for your vehicle. Thank you.
