Until now. My wife and I bought a 2010 2LT last week. The great thing is that we lucked into finding one used at our local dealer. Only 12k miles on it and in perfect shape.

It literally was the little old lady story, made them give me verification because you always hear that. Woman ordered it and drove it for 4 months. She had trouble because she was too short to pull the lift gate back down. So she had to trade it in and order one with the power lift gate.

Because it was used we got what I think is a pretty good price on it.

I have to say that we absolutely LOVE it. Chevy got it right with this one. We also looked at the CRV, but they are just two different types of vehicles. The CRV has more of a truck or utility feel to it. If people pay attention to reviews I can see the Equinox puting a dent in CRV sales.

I am in love with this vehicle.

The only two MINOR things I would like to change are that the original owner put the front license plate bracket on it. Wish I could take it off and gracefully cover the holes it will leave.

And I wish I could turn off the XM so that it no longer comes up as a source.

Welcome and congrats! Chevy will end up really spoiling you, so be careful ;D

I've seen "plugs" in holes on front bumpers that don't look too bad. Ask your dealer about that as a possibility.

As a new member, I kept bypassing this thread b/c I didn't want to read an obviously negative comment. Especially by someone with "rottens" in their user name. But then I kept seeing darottens posts that were positive. So I finally read this thread - joke's on me! ;D

I'm with you. This is my first domestic branded vehicle. I've owned nearly every common import and actually upgraded from a '06 Civic The CRV was one of the first vehicles I looked at when I started shopping and it bored me. My original Honda salesman had moved over to a GMC/Chevy dealership, so I checked out what they had and immediately fell in love with the 'Nox / Terrain. Availability and price put me in the 'Nox and I just love it!

The Honda dealership called me right after I made my purchase and when I told them I'd already bought a Chevy 'Nox the guys tone turned rude and he said "you'll be back." Hmm, maybe eventually, but I can tell you I won't deal with him or that dealership ever again.

Binab, a little rudeness goes a long way. But I have to say, when the Ford sales rep called me and my Nox deal was finalized, he took the bad news with class. I'll remember him just as you'll remember the Honda dealer.
