How/where can I purchase a 2011 Terrain?

I keep reading post about people ordering a 2011 terrain. Hello, I want one!!!! My dealership in Lake Elsinore, CA has no idea when the 2011's are gonna come out. They already have the 2011 Acaica. Also, if you order a 2011 somehow, do you pay for it first?

I just ordered mine at the dealer last week. I had to give them a $200.00 deposit. Just make sure the dealer you order it from have enough allocations to order. Otherwise it will take forever to get delivery. They told me 6-10 weeks is the norm.
Good luck ;D
Sounds like your contact at the local dealer doesn't really care about sales or he/she would check and give you a better answer than that. How far away is the next nearest GMC dealer? Also..(and I apologize if it was a misspelling of Acadia) but is Acaica some kind of new model for 2011?
What are some of the upgrades GMC offered in the 2011 Terrain compared to the 2010 model?

As far as I know, the only changes to the 2011 Terrain/Nox is the flex fuel engine (V6 engine) and a couple of new color choices/minor options standard at some trim levels. Other than that..nothing.

I agree!!! There were no changes on the order form from the 2010 to the 2011 on the I-4. We priced out a 2010 and added 3% cause the pricing was not available when I ordered mine.
I put a $500 refundable deposit down for a 2011 Terrain about 2 and a half weeks ago. I received a text message from the dealer this Friday stating that the order was placed that day. I have been told that the 2011 pricing will be available in another week or so.

Prior to putting the deposit down, the dealer and I agreed to a formula (X amount over invoice plus $750 USAA rebate). I'll know the final sales price in a week or so.
Another change, in the 'Nox at least, is that the models with the back-up camera will no longer have the indicator lights in the very back of the vehicle above the cargo area. There will only be the beeps notifying you when you are too close to something.
Hello- this is my first post, but I've been reading the site diligently.

I ordered my 2011 Terrain on June 14, 2010, and just found out today the build date is the week of August 9 and I will be receiving it about 3 weeks or so after that. I ordered the SLT-1 in Olympic White with black leather interior.

At the time I ordered the dealer I ordered from had 50+ (his words) Equinoxes ready to come in, which he tried hard to sell to me, but I had my heart set on the Terrain and was willing to wait. I don't think 3 months was too unreasonable to get exactly what I wanted and in the '11 model. I'm anxiously awaiting the end of August!
congrats jetieva!

three months isnt too bad for the 2011. Make sure to post pics when you get your Terrain!
