So my granddaughter spilled jucie on my 4x4 panel and it's all sticky I know there's some way to remove just can't find anything online.

From what i seen in the Factory Service Manual, you might be better off getting a one month subscription to Alldata (not expensive) and following the instructions, they are the same as what GM publishes in their FSM. Once you get the trim plate off, the switch only pops out when you push in the plastic tangs that hold it in. Good luck with it

What is the 3rd setting for on the AWD panel ? My '18 only has the choice of FWD and AWD.

That other setting on that panel is the mountain and snow setting which is just a reduction in the amount of throttle and power, there is also the setting for tow haul that is also there but this vehicle does not have it.
