Does anyone have any suggestions for headlight protection. Nothing worse than hazy headlights and having to pay somebody to buff them out for you. I saw a truck that had a heat treated film over the glass headlight. Has anyone seen this before?

Black Granite,
I tried the link, thanks. However, my 2011 Terrain is not listed on thier product list. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Just put in 2010 instead of 2011...the headlights haven't changed. On the other hand, $70 seems a little steep for what is basically two smallish strips of clear film..

I ended up going to an installer that XPEL recommended on thier site. Not only did Modern Image (.net) wrap my headlights, they did the cars for 4 of the 5 Fast and Furious movies. How bad ass is that?
Yes it is a bit on the high side, but it has a 5 yr warranty. With the miles I put on my cars it is well worth it. No more hazy/foggy headlights for this guy! ;D

Black Granite, thanks for the links. :)

Use the same wax you use on your paint. The reason they oxidize is because nobody really ever puts wax on the headlights but they need the extra UV protection as well. I usually do it every 3 months.

I always wax the headlights on my Solstice and wifes Equinox....plus use Meguiar's Ultimate detail spray on them after a wash.
Meguiars also makes a couple different polishes especially for lightly or heavily oxidised headlamps. My neighbor has used it with great success on his Daughters older Grand Am.
So not a great worry anymore. Check out *** clear plastic care..
