Got to put a headlight assy. in the DIL's '16 nox today along with a rear pad slap.
There was so much moisture in it that it set B2575 and B2699 codes. BCM was turning the headlights off while driving. She had to turn lights off / on so they reset and came back on.
I just replaced the assembly, with what it takes to pull it out and try a reseal and it doesn't work wasn't worth it.
I would say it's a level 2 job at least.

Craftsman screwdrivers?

I've only ever had to replace a headlight two times. Once on my '67 Camaro and once on the wife's old '78 Trans Am Special Edition. Both were easy peasy... Remove exterior grill piece (a couple of phillips screws), remove retaining bezel (more phillips screws), pull out bulb, disconnect wiring from back of bulb, reverse process to install. No disassembling half the front end of the vehicle, and it was a one peson job since the pieces weighed next to nothing.

Still have the Camaro (see my signature below). The T/A was three cars ago for the wife.

Bulbs can be changed by loosening the inner fender and pulling it back. Housing is a bumper cover pull off. Alldata says 1.9 hrs. for bumper cover replacement. I can see 2 hrs., actually not that bad just need a good selection of tools and plastic trim tools. 14 screws and about 10 plastic darts, unplug DRL's and prying fender locking tabs to release and it's off in one piece.

Yep Craftsman tools. I retired from Sears, all my stuff is Craftsman.
All the old sealed beams where easy if the screws were not rusted. I've changed a few in my time.
