In the manual it does not say how big the hard drive is in the nav radio. I put about 3gb worth of music on it from a flash drive but can not see an info screen that shows remaining space. On my aspen with the Mygig it had a 40gb drive. Also the manual does not show the HDD button (believe is says aux, usb,HDD). Also does it use the gracenotes database?

I am showing that the hard drive has 10 GB memory capacity for storage of media files. This can also be found in the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain Navigation Manual on page 25. However I am showing that the overall size is 40 GB hard drive. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me directly.

Thanks but I have not received my Nav manual yet as they forgot to put it in the car on delivery. Said they sent it overnight along with the headphones and remote they also forgot but I have yet to see it.

The HD button is combined with the USB & Aux..Just press it until it shows the HD stuff, OR if you have the Nav screen you can also touch the HD button on the screen.

Should you have any questions about using exterior drives for music (flash or hard), feel free to reference this thread:
