So I got my HID kit today from KBcarstuff(aka XenonDepot). wondering if any of you have any pointers or links to install pics. Hoping to install it in the next week or so.

Thanks!

Sorry, I really should have searched the forum first. ::) http://www.terrainforum.net/index.php?topic=1732.0

In any case the install was EASY! I got it done in about an hour and I didn't use the relays on my 2011 Terrain. Can't wait to take it for a drive tonight!
A couple pointers I just wanted to mention, if they haven't been said already. In the dust cap, drill the holes for the grommet off center. The HID bulbs are a little longer and with the wiring coming through the grommet you'll be tight on space. It'll help keep pressure off the bulb wiring and grommet, hopefully helping with a better seal.
The locking tab on the dust cover needs to be pointed down.
Check the seal on you bulbs before installing! If its in the wrong spot you be fighting with it for a while! I hope the seal on the left side is the right way! I couldn't get the bulb in and lock with the seal in the right.

Thanks to KB Carstuff (xenondepot) for a nice quality HID kit that comes with everything!

So after driving in the evening a couple times, I have to say that I don't think the HIDs are that much brighter. I got the 4300k so that eliminates too much blue in the light. Maybe I was just hoping for too much.

I'm not noticing any flickering so I doubt that its the voltage. I didn't use the relay harness, but logic says that once the bulbs "ignite" they're on so the harness wouldn't help.

I'll try to post a pic later tonight or tomorrow.

Any thoughts?
