While on extended drive today we experienced fogging windshield with Auto Climate Control. Had the temp set at 72 with outside temp at 40 and raining. Had to keep putting in defrost mode with fan at highest speed to keep clear. Then the interior felt cold, I actually put the temp above 80 to keep inside warm. Doesn’t make any sense.
Also noticed after an hour at 70 mph we stopped at rest area and it seemed steam was coming from the engine compartment. Thought mabe it was just rain on warm engine or radiator. Popped the hood and could not find a leak, although we could smell glycol from coolant. Fans were not running and the coolant tank was full and slightly warm to the touch. The temp gauge was slightly below the halfway mark ( why no actual temps? ). Hour and a half later when we stopped again, no steam. Going to stop by dealer in the AM and talk to them. Wonder if the two are related.
