Well the oil life meter is at 39% so I figure next weekend I will be changing the oil so it doesn't hit 0% on our road trip to Daytona. I got my oil, filter, special socket, torque wrenches and all I need is to make sure I have the right socket size. Im sure I have it for the drain plug but what size are the lugs?

Also did anyone find out what magnetic drain plug will fit?

edit:

lugnut size is 22mm

drainplug is AP04 according to goldplug.com I have one on order.

Like I said, it SHOULD work. GM could of changed the oil pan for the DI engine but only way to know is to check.

You can also go to your parts department and cross reference drain plugs to see what matches.

Ok I got confirmation from goldplug.com the magnetic drain plug its the AP04.

Anyone know the torque specs on the plug. One time I over torqued and that was enough for me to not do it again.

Oh and the lugnut size is 22mm if anyone else needed that info.

When you rotate the tires don't follow the first part of the procedure (to reset the TPM) in the manual because it won't work. Go into the the menu and do it from there then follow the procedure.

Ahh, ok. So you just go to that menu in the DIC, and press the checkmark to start the process?

This is good to know, since I am having my first rotation done this weekend. :)
