P0442 & P0446

Are there any bulletins that reference those two codes? Something to do with the emissions. No driveability issues, but sometimes the idle is a little rough and the smell of gas in the cab. Filling up is a nightmare, it will stop the pump 30,056 times before it is full.

Looks like a trip to the dealer. Don't really need any TSB's for those as they are evap and purge related. Reasons why you are smelling the fumes and hard to pump gas. They should fix those without any incident.

Dealers out of the equation for me, Im long out of warranty so if anything its a trip to the local garage if I cannot figure it out myself.

Funny you mention that... 2011 Terrain 4cyl here. Just passed 10,000km (6200mi). Over the last couple of months, I've noticed the same thing - except no gas smell, and no codes set. Just a little rough at idle occasionally (I chalked it up to ECO mode at first, but been leaving that off the last month, and it still intermittently appears) and the fill-up issue. At first I thought it was the pump (I am a man of habits: same station, same pump), so I tried different pumps, and then different stations, with no change - in fact, the "number of stops per fill" has been increasing. Taking to dealership next week for that (and the seat belt recall).

I thought emissions related issues were covered til 80K, or so. Are you over that ?

Ohhhh I hope you are right, Ill have to look it up. Im at 72k right now.

Mileage might be a problem as I think the emissions warranty was 3 years/50K miles. It used to be a lot longer years ago.

Can you clue us in... what solenoid... in the engine itself or elsewhere in the fuel system???
