Since the underpinnings are all the same, please cast your vote based solely on Exterior and interior styling. If you want, tell us what you like/dislike best about the various models in the thread.

We tested the Ford Escape, Chrysler Journey, Cadillac SRX and Equinox for the wife.
I happened across the Terrain while checking a local dealer for Equinox colours.
I'd never even heard of the Terrain until that day.
I liked the body style and interior better than the Equinox and mentioned it to the wife.
We went back the next day with me totally expecting her to pick an Equinox.
Much to my surprise, she went "wow" when she saw the Terrain and we decided right then and there it was the one for us.

www.gminsidenews.com. A useful site, but I tend to find the opinions a wee bit strong.
Thanks SnowItch.
Haven't been there yet, but i'd expect the opinions to be a little skewed as well as strong.
LOL!

I own a 2010 Nox but voted for the SRX based on looks alone. Having said that, I'm not sure the styling alone is worth the price premium over a similarly equipped Nox. My least favorite is the Terrain, but I'll have to admit that the "baby hummer" look is growing on me somewhat..

I've never heard anyone comment to me personally that the Terrain looks like a baby Hummer. What I have heard twice now from very different people is that my Terrain (black with all the chrome) looks like a baby Escalade. That kind of surprised me.

The SRX is the sharpest but you are talikng a way different price class. I prefer the looks of the Equinox over the Terrain (I don't like the sides. I do think the rear hatch of the Terrain is nicer. The interiors are almost identical

I agree, I like the round fenders rather than the square, but they are both good lookin vehicles :p

Definitely the SRX looks best, but on paper not so much. For me the fenders are too big on the Terrain so I didn't even consider one. Bought the Nox and am very happy with it!

Now that the Saab 9-4X is near release and I've seen pics...I would have to give it the slight nod over the SRX for being a little more conservative yet still unique looking. It also has my favorite interior of all the Theta based vehicles.. http://www.insideline.com/saab/9-4x/2012/photos/2012-saab-9-4x-2010-los-angeles-auto-show-gallery.html
Agree...The 9-4X definitely appeals more to my taste vs the SRX. I like the SRx interior vs the Nox, but it keeps those side chrome vents from the old Saturn Vue and is a major turn off to me. Hopefully they will do something about those stupid chrome panels on the side in 2012! Remove those, with the added the 3.6L and I will be considering an upgrade in 2012....

I feel that the Terrain stands out from the crowd.
Subtle difference in the interiors and I think that it give the best bang for the buck option for option.

I wanted a Terrain, but all the ones I did a test drive with felt terrible.
Hard shifting, and lots of vibration or harshness on the road. Equinox and terrain are suposed to be the same underneath, but they are not
