Exhaust Visible from Rear

OK I know this sounds crazy but I don't like that you can see the exhaust/muffler from the rear of my Nox when you're at a distance behind it! Is it possible to paint it black so that it blends in better with the underside of the car? It's silver looking now and just stands out. (I can hear some of you guys laughing already, but I'm serious!)
