Hello,
Yesterday was the first time I heard this noise. As I shut the vehicle down and opened the door I noticed it.
It is a whine that is associated with the engine fan and gradually decrease at the rate of the fan slow down.
Vehicle has about 1600 miles on it.
Any thoughts or similar situations?

Have you brought this to the attention of your local dealership? There are many benefits to taking a vehicle to your local dealership.
