OK, first post on our 2011 LTZ Equinox.
Bought a Cardinal Red 2011 with all the bells and whistles except rear seat DVD's.
41 miles at pickup Now has 100 after our first joyride.
Wife used the remote start at work, drove 3 miles home. When she got home, removed the key, the drivers door would not unlock, either with the remote, or with the button on the center control panel.
Car was turned off, key out of the ignition, radio was still on.
Climbed out the passenger door, unlocked the driver door, opened and relocked, everything off.
Cannot repeat this scenario.
Another Chevy fan at work said this has happened and found you need to wait a few seconds for the Console to power down before you try to open the door.
Anyone else have this problem?

Mine has always unlocked as soon as I shut the car off. Or hit the button after shutdown. May be a firmware thing. Also you can pull the door handle twice to manually unlock and open from the inside.

Ours has never done this but we set ours up to unlock as soon as you shift to park.

Same as gsuter.

A couple weeks ago my drivers door would not open and I had to climb out the passenger door. It turned out to be snow/ice had frozen at the end of the door handle and wouldn't let the lock open even though the inside lock button went up and down. After I removed the blockage, the door worked fine.

Hard Nox,

I will be sending you a private message shortly for more information regarding this issue.

We have not been able to reproduce this problem. Everything appears to be working fine. Perhaps it was just a fluke, or our own inexperience, after all the car had only 100 miles on it so we were not used to anything. We have tried several scenarios and the door locks appear to be fine. If it occurs again, we will be sure to check in with our dealer. Very pleased with the Nox at this point.
