Not much to add other than I bought a used 18 a year ago 32K and have put 10K on it with no issues.

No one ever posts that their car is running well so any search on vehicles is going to seem like nothing but problems.

There's a big difference between buying a 2018 with 32K on it and a 2018 with 108K miles on it. Maintenance history is key with 108K miles. At 32K miles, it's not quite as much of a factor.

We have an 18 2.0T LT2, with 123,000 miles. No engine or Trans issues at all. We just service it in the 7,500 miles. I service the Trans and transfer case about every 25,000 to 35,000 miles. The trans/transfer case have been serviced 3 time since new.
We just bought a 23 Trailblazer ACTIV. It will get regular maintenance and expect the same from it.

I'm having trouble getting the dealer to budge on the price.

It is also not entirely comparable from a mileage standpoint, but I have a 2018 with 49K on it and live in Pittsburgh, so it definitely gets cold. The reason for the low mileage is I now work from home, so not only do the miles get to stay low, but it sits an awful lot as well, getting driven only 1 or 2 times a week. I have had zero issues with it, and keep up with maintenance regularly.

Yeah ... I'm not surprised ... this is quite possibly the worst car-buying market I've ever seen in my 30+ year car-buying life! How does the Dealer's price compare to what kbb.com is saying it's worth?

You're also looking at a 2016 Traverse... correct? How's that one going? Personally, all other things being equal, I'd rather have the V6 over that Turbo 4-cylinder, pre-owned.

If you hadn't purchased the vehicle yet I would goto Cargurus website and look for exactly the equinox you want and you will find many in the 18-20 year range. It would be worth it to spend a little more and get the 2.0L and/or lower miles if possible. If not have the vehicle your looking at inspected and maintenance records. I've heard good things about that generation of Equinox's. I purchased my 18 AWD 2.0 back in '21 and have been very happy with it. If the one your looking at runs drives great and all the boxes check out then it should serve you well for years to come down the road.
