Remember to change this filter about every 3,000 miles or you might end up with low oil pressure because of the large amount of filter material they tend to restrict oil flow if you leave them in to long.

Off Topic a bit.

Purchased a STP cartridge filter for a Dodge Journey last week for $12.99 from Auto Zone.(ouch). :banghead:

Saturday, purchased a equivalent Purolator filter for $5,99 from Advance Auto Parts.

Why the difference in price? Beats me, but I know where I'm buying filters from now on.

I'm of the opinion that the Purolator filter is a step up from the STP.

Shop around.
