Installed the CAI today. Big difference and sounds a bit throaty too, I like it.
Yep. The rubber going around the box was a little stiff but it fit. I have to squirrel away the money for it but I plan to call Magnaflow to see what exactly the status is on the CBE.Perfect fit too, right?
…and if you ever do find a Magnaflow cat-back, the 2 working together sound FANTASTIC!
nah, I’m just fwd.Yep. The rubber going around the box was a little stiff but it fit. I have to squirrel away the money for it but I plan to call Magnaflow to see what exactly the status is on the CBE.
Is your Nox AWD?
Question: Did you have to buy a second muffler? The kit on Magnaflows website list only one. I know theres two underneath but figured the kit bypasses the second. My research indicates the Magnaflow is actually discontinued. However, K&N DOES have a CAI for the V6. Check my model numbers listed above (post #7). I can verify that even though it’s only listed as fitting the ‘10-‘12 3.0 V6 it ALSO fits the ‘13-‘17 V6. I’ve got one on my ‘15!
…also added a pic of the Magnaflow…
Thought it might be. The listing on Magnaflow's website doesn't list it, no biggie I'd rather do away with the resonator anyways.No. The pic of the Magnaflow in post #13 is how it comes. It’s a resonator in front and then muffler at the back.
The Magnaflow cat-back comes with a resonator. The kit pictured is how it came out of the box. I hadn’t taken my stock exhaust off yet…Thought it might be. The listing on Magnaflow's website doesn't list it, no biggie I'd rather do away with the resonator anyways.
If you go to their website it's not on the list of parts for my year or in the instructions. MagnaFlow 2015-2017 GMC Terrain Street Series Cat-Back Performance ExhThe Magnaflow cat-back comes with a resonator. The kit pictured is how it came out of the box. I hadn’t taken my stock exhaust off yet…
Yours is a 2015, correct? I’m not sure the 19114 is actually the one you want…post a pic of the tips on your stock exhaust…. If you have the round tips stock, you want the 15148. If you have the rectangular tips, stock, you want the 19114. I think Maganaflow is off by a year on the 19114 and it should actually be listed as for the 2016-2017. If yours is a ‘15, once again, you’re identical mechanically to mine..If you go to their website it's not on the list of parts for my year or in the instructions. You're going to have to trust me again on this one…. The 19114 tips will not fit your 2015. I’m attaching a pic of my 2015 stock exhaust. See if that matches yours. The 15148 is what you want for your 2015. However, at this moment, the point is most likely moot because I believe they’re both discontinued…Yes 2015. Theres probably a reason for the different part numbers and the tips can be changed. That resonator in your pic won't fit under mine, the resonator on mine is the size of a small coffee can.
OK…looking forward to what they have to say…The dual tips are for the Denali and like I said they can be changed out for the round type I have. I'm calling Magnaflow this morning when they open, I was told this weekend that they build per demand on some kits so it might not be discontinued.
Keep us posted.Talked with tech support and the #15148 kit is discontinued but the #19114 is not and should be back in stock late August early September. The dual tip outlet he said is for the Denali package and it's possible they can substitute single style tips. He said they could probably cross-reference the tips from the #15148 kit when I'm ready to order.
But yours has the round tips since it’s not Denali and a 2015, correct?2015-2017 Denali's had a different exhaust. Heres a vid on the exhaust on a denali.View attachment 19518
