Hey! I would like to know what kind of products you use to clean you car's interior?

The manual say to use a neutral PH soap to clean the plastic, but I can't find any product that have this information written on it. =/

I've found many website saying a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar could do the job too but I'm not sure if I should use it on my new car.

Also I don't like products like Armor All that makes the plastic shiny.

I have been using a mild solution of Murphy's Oil Soap for years on my vehicle interiors.

These are professional products and work great inside and out.

I just use warm water and an old rag to wipe everything down. As long as you don't smoke or spill sugary drinks/food in your interior, this should be all you'll need. For my used cars, I would put just a tiny drop of dish soap in to help cut the dirt.

I'm with you, I hate the shiny look. Plain water has kept all of my other cars looking showroom new on the inside!

I use the products that I use on my Harley. They hold up better and clean/condition better in my opinion....they have to.
Black Magic or Turtle wax leather cleaner/conditioner. Good price and smells great.

All other areas I use STP's Son Of a Gun Protectant (doesn't shine like ArmourAll) and S100 All Surface Cleaner(this stuff is fantastic).
Blue Coral carpet cleaner.

I use Aerospace 303 protectant on the dash and plastic trim areas. Natural finish and silicone free. I don't like the silicone based products.

I use Meguiars Leather cleaner and conditioner for the leather seats.

Among all those products I could find the Meguiar's spray and wipes at my Canadian Tire store, and it was 50% off.

I bought the wipes to try them and I'm happy because it did not change they way the plastic look. I'll go buy the spray tomorrow before the rebate ends!

Thank you! :)

I'll second that! S100 is an amazing detailer.

I just used Turtle Wax Ice interior wipes for the first time. The wipes can be used on the entire interior, including leather/clear plastic. One wipe took care of the entire care, though I didn't hit the leather up. The formula doesn't use harsh chemicals & left the interior looking factory without the grease look.
