I was unsuccessful trying to cancel chrome package on my Equinox.
Are chrome skid plates added over black area of bumper ?
What does it look like with trailer package? Is there a removable plate in it?
Can I swap with someone who wants those chrome pieces or are they part of the bumper?
SnowItch? anybody?

looks like there is a smaller "chrome" piece that is rempovable within the larger chrome piece. I haven't tried, but it looks like it just snaps off (the smaller peice). The larger piece could probably be removed, but it will leave holes/slots within the actual bumper cover.

I'd guess you'll be happy with the chrome overlay. It looks classy.

I actually found your idea very fashionable. I don't know why GM can't make them matched chrome black chrome on black, blue on blue. Mine comes with shinny metals on roof racks, door handles, front and rear chromes. Just too much decorations.

Yes ,I agree all black looks better without all the extra chrome.

Guys, YES there is a small piece of facia that snaps apart to make room for the trailer hitch and wiring plug. It is about 1 foot wide. Makes the hitch application appear nice. Personally I like the chrome pkg.

The chrome is part of the bumper, and is not easily removed. I didn't think I would like it either, but actually it's quite nice. Really looks classy and well designed.

Actually, the chrome bumper facia is very easy to remove. But, removing it will leave sixteen exposed holes (slots) in the bumper cover.

I have had my chrome equiped Nox for many months now and it has grown on me. I am glad i got the chrome now! :
