Yeah I read that..."teaser threads" are "worthless" IMHO

Although he does at least ask a question

and I'll add a partial answer...on this Forum I have only seen "some" limited vinyl wraps being done, but no "carbon fiber" so far

Nope ... I have been Chroming up my vehilce. Been lazy with pictures. I'll TEASE some. I just Chromed the bottom of the tailgate and on the LS I boufght chrome inserts for where the fog lights would be :thumb: I think I'm finished . ;D
I have chromed the door pillars, mirrors, handles, grill too.

Where are you getting the materials and what are they made of? .. Sounds interesting whatr you are doing

I almost did a carbon fiber on my carbon metallic, but it was too busy. Should look fine on Onyx tho. My guy said the material he had was a bit difficult to wrap tight spaces.
There is a picture on my thread "Anyone Powder Coating" I believe where I show his gray Mazda3 with the carbon fiber wrap. Looks really cool on gray

You should have real carbon fiber overlayed on top of it. Carbon fiber cloth isnt too expensive and then just have it vacuum molded to the piece. You doing the work yourself if not what shop are you going too?

i have seen the carbon wraps on interior work quite well. Curious to see how long/well it stands up on the exterior.
