I have a problem with plastic on plastic creaks coming from the big cubby at the bottom of the center stack. The noises are most prevalent when going over rough road, or accelerating at low RPM’s that lug the motor and cause vibration (2.4L ECO On).
I’m fairly sure the noise is coming from the cubby area as I can put pressure down on the rubber liner or the sides of the cubby and the creaks stop.
Noises like this drive me crazy!
I am debating going to the dealership for an immediate fix, wait for the next service interval, or doing a little DIY.
Just want to get the problem out there and see if anyone else has this issue. I’ll keep this updated when I get a fix applied.
