My opinion I don't think there is much carbon build up. I did a spark plug change in 2020 and took a picture.

Since the factory recommended interval is 97,500mi. they really don't look that bad.

Have you had any of the oil consumption issues with the 2.4L?.

I'm holding out as long as I can with the plugs on my 3.6L. It only has 73,400 on the clock, plus I hear it's a PITA to change them out.
