I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I am looking for recommendations for the best
brand named bug deflector for my 2011 Nox. I've surfed the web and found AVS Bugflector II
and Lund brands. There are factory holes under the hood (x4) near the edge and those holes look to be
for the stock GM bug deflector. I called GM parts and they want about $80 (uninstalled). They
can't tell me the vendor that makes it. I've seen one installation demo Youtube (don't remember the name)
and they used little plastic blocks that you put into those factory drilled holes, then align the bug
shield tab holes over the factory holes/blocks and fasten them in with a screwdriver.

Want to install it soon before the bugs come out this year.

Update: Purchased OEM Bug Shield from GM Dealer yesterday. It was about same price as
other third party vendors. The directions could of been a bit more clear then what they supplied.
I'll install it later today per directions and hopefully it will install without a hitch.
I wish I knew who makes the OEM Bug shields for GM?

I took my OEM Bug Shield back to the Chevy Dealer. He graciously gave me a refund, although
they usually don't on SPECIAL ORDER items. Anyway the thing that turned me off was that you
had to mount four rubber "spacers/bumpers" that had a peal and stick on them and they went on
the front edge of the hood. They are what keep the shield from contacting the paint on the edge of
the hood.

So....I am back to looking for a brand that will give that little bit of clearance without those stick on rubber
bumpers so that I have access/room to clean the front edge of the hood on my 2011 Nox..

Weather Tech looks interesting and so does AVS. On line shopping for a bug shield I dial in 2011
nox and thay no got-ee, if you dial in a 2010 then they have that. Would the 2010 be interchangeable
with the 2011.
