I have a 2019 Terrain and the dome lighting is dim, I would like to replace the original LED bulbs with brighter ones. Also would like to do the same for backup lights. Has anyone found a bright bulb?
I wanted to change the fog light bulbs, until I found out it cost over $ 60 to do so. The front tires had to be removed, the inner wall of the front wheel wells had to be removed, and there was something else that made the procedure cost prohibitive. I have always driven GM vehicles as did my parents. GM has made a lot of mistakes through the years, and we have had a lot of them. There is no excuse for this, it made me want to trade it in on a Jeep or anything else, but I imagine each has it's own set of stupidity behind it.
The front tires shouldn't need to be removed. Should just be able to turn them in, remove the first 4 or 5 fasteners for the wheel well liner, pull the liner back, and reach in to get the bulbs out.
