So I didn't like the gold chevy bowtie emblems and decided to black them out. I think it turned out great and already got a compliment on them. What do you guys think?

+1 for great thinking!Zinc Stang said:Thanks guys. I went with a vinyl overlay because I wanted to easily remove it without any damage.
I'd tend to agree with Narg.Narg said:Very cool. I'd only done something shiny, instead of the flat black. Match the paint on the rest of the 'Nox.

I didn't see any for sale online so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought two sheets of black all weather vinyl and a brand new x-acto knife, all for under 5 bucks. We have had the car since the beginning of March and I wash it once a week and their is no sign of wear so far. Overall I am happy.
I thought about doing the wheels as well but they are so small I am not going to worry about it. Besides I am sorta in the market for some aftermarket wheels.

I looked for the "black all weather vinyl" at the local Hobby Lobby and they thought I was smoking crack. They searched high and low and nothing. Any suggestions for another source?
