I'm looking into a car top carrier to buy for my Black 2LT (haven't taken delivery yet). I really like the Yakima brand, but they are pretty expensive. Does anyone have a recommendation for an aerodynamic carrier, and what's the maximum length I can get without it looking ridiculous on my roof?

I bought a Thule flat mount ski/snowboard rack. I would have preferred a top box but if will not fit into our garage while mounted.

If it's not a pain, could you double check the model number on your carrier box? My google search is coming up with a flatter design than your picture.
I'm mostly interested in the length of it, since it's obvious from your picture you have plenty of clearence from the liftgate, and doesn't appear to overlap the windshield much at all. My plan is to use it for a couple golf bags, and a couple fishing rods. In your opinion, is that doable with yours?

Dimensions are listed at bottom. I don't think it will fit fishing rods and clubs may be a tight fit.

The thingwith a bigger (longer)box is that I think it will lack front support. The roof rails and bars don't extend really far past moonroof.
