In the middle of an engine swap on a 2012 2.4l terrain. Anyone know how many bell housing bolts there are and a diagram of locations? I cant seem to get the engine free.

Not sure. On 2013 AWD 2.4L I think there are seven bolts. 6 from the bell housing side to the engine and one from the engine to the bellhousing down low on the right side. Looking from the rear of trans.

There are 9 bolts holding the 2014 6T45 trans to the engine.
Two on the top of the trans thread into the engine block.
The other seven thread into the trans case.

Do you have an all wheel drive?
Don't forget to unbolt the mounts.

I have a fwd. I count 2 mounts. Is there another one I'm missing?
I'm working from the 2014 6T45 manual, you either have the 6T40 or the 6T45.
Late 2012 was the first year for the Gen ll 6T45.

There are 3 mounts front, rear, and left side.
The left side is partially hidden, part of it slides into the unibody frame rail.

Be sure to pull the starter and remove the torque converter bolts first, usually 3 depending which torque converter you have.
My 6T70 has 6.
DO NOT leave the torque converter bolted to the flywheel when you split the motor and trans.
Mark the torque converter and flywheel so the original holes match up when you put it back together.
It's balanced.
