I have noticed battery voltage is around 13.8 on the DIC while idling in the garage after a start.. Normal... Then an hour into a trip on the highway, battery voltage is 15.3 volts.. Seems high. The vehicle is a 19' Denali. It's a daily driver in the summer but less frequently used in winter. In winter I put a smart charger on the battery while it's in the garage if the car hasn't been driven for a few weeks.. It takes very little time for the smart charger to "top off" the battery at it's 1.25 amp rate. It seems to me the voltage reading are opposite of what they should be.. I would expect the higher voltage to appear on the DIC (when selected) after a cold start and the lower 13.8 volt reading to show after the car has been on the highway for an hour.. Anyone else notice this?
