I have a 2012 GMC Terrain with about 39,000 miles. I started it today and got a loud banging noise out of the passenger rear speaker. The noise stops if you turn off the radio, but reoccurs when using the turn signals and flashes. Any ideas as to the problem?

Yes, In the olden days cars had a ignition condenser that prevented popping/ engine noise and static coming through the speakers from the cars ignition system. It has electrical issues where multiple systems are hogging power from the same ground. I had a car with this problem and it fixed itself when I changed the battery. I also had a car with this problem that would never go away so I purchased a ground loop isolator for my radio it made the sound quieter. Make sure the speaker itself is working maybe slam all the doors a few times check battery cranking amps.
