Backseat passed the ultimate test..

This weekend one of my old college buddies (who is 6'3 315lbs ex offensive lineman) rode in the backseat for a 2 1/2 hour round trip and proclaimed it "not bad with plenty of head and legroom" however he did say that the seat "scoop" was little narrow...but admitted that his backside may be a little wider than normal. :D The best part is that neither of the front seats ever have to be adjusted forward when people ride in the back...and that's a first for me among many different vehicles I've owned. I've only been in the backseat once, and that was for a short hop while my wife was driving and her mom was riding shotgun....but I also thought it wasn't bad, but a little noiser than the front.

I give the Nox high marks for interior passenger room both front and back...

Being 6'4"...I remember well a couple of cars I have been interested in that just didn't give me the head and/or leg room needed...

The first "test" on my self introduction to the Nox was to check seating. Entry and exit from the driver or shotgun position is effortless...even if the Mrs. has either seat somewhat forward when I enter.

Next was to move both front seats all the way back and check leg room from the rear seat...again effortless even with the rear seat forward all the way there is no "knee knocking" on the back of the front seats.

With the rear seats back all the way...the leg room approaches "limo" status :hilarious:

I would have liked the rear bench to lay completely flat when folded...but appreciate GM placing comfort over lay flat...I'll live with the compromise especially since we also have a full size SUV when those xtra "needs" arise...

For the category this platform fits into...the seating IMHO is spectacularly spacious :thumb: :thumb:

Please read my comments as related to available space and not necessarily comfort

Although I do find the seating comfortable...it is not equal to what can be had in a larger platform...(and I don't expect it to be)

I thought this was going to be a little different story... ;D Oh well, I will just get my mind out of the gutter for now.
I too am on the taller side at 6'3. When I went for test drives the first thing I would do is get in tue back seat. Then adjust the front to my liking and then get back in the back seat to see how much room the people behind me would have. Have to say I'm impressed to this day.

Actually I had thought maybe it would be along those lines as well...fortunately, we still only have one thread on that subject... :hilarious:

Yeah, I thought about that about 3 seconds after hitting "enter"...and then I thought about my bad back and what such activities would do to it. 10-15 years ago that might have been the "ultimate test" ;D
That is the specific reason why I did not purchase a Honda CRV. I have owned Hondas for years and this is the first Chevrolet that I have owned since 1971. A long time, I know. Take care and have a good day.
