Back in July, I posted a question about the auto time adjust feature for the clock on 2010 Equinoxes with the standard Infotainment system. I didn't revceive many replies. So now I'm asking 2011 Equinox/Terrain owners: Do you have this feature? My original post is below:

Page 4-10 of the Owner's Manual talks about an "Auto Time Adjust" feature for the clock. I have no such menu item in my infotainment system setup, which is the standard one (no nav). Anyone else have this feature, or was it just not included?

I will check my non nav system for auto clock adjust in about an hour. Then I will answer as soon as possible. There are many errors in the manual. We had someone compile the errors but he left a few months ago with all his posts. :'(

Just checked my 2011 Equinox Owner Manual and it does talk about the "Auto Time Adjust" feature on page 5-6 but I just went out to check and this is not available...

I just checked mine. It has "Auto time Adjust". Press "configure"..."time and date"...scroll down to "auto time adjust" then press select to turn it "on" or "off"

I have the middle radio with 2 GB MEM and subwoofer but no NAV.

I see, I have the "Radio with CD" one not the "Radio with CD/DVD/MEM" one. Roesterman, do you have the rear DVD entertainment system?

Well where is our GM rep to inform us of what is going on? Do we have defective units? Did GM make a change without notice?

Exactly what is "auto time adjust"? Is it compensation for daylight savings, or something that works with the sattelite radio to keep the time accurate?

Keeps time accurate.

Maybe the differences are when the vehicles were built. GM must have made one of those mid-year changes like the remote window roll down feature.

Maybe. Funny thing is I have one of the early builds and have the all-window down feature, but not the Auto Time Adjust.

I called GM about this today. The person on the other end said they would have to check into it and call back tomorrow. If anyone else out there knows why GM changed, please let us know.

It looks to me that it only comes up on the Pioneer system that includes the rear seat intertainment or nav. We don't have that on our menue with the Premium Pioneer/CD system on our 2011 Equinox LTZ.
