Does any one know if this is legal or would even look cool? Seeing a red ambient glow coming out of the grill of my terrain just sounds mean! I know people put lights under the car but how about here? What would also look cool if the GMC symbol would actually glow red. Let me know if there are parts made to do this. I would love to see pics if possible. Thanks to all in advance for input.

I would have to believe that "the law" wouldn't allow either red or blue in that area. (in Mass., the law uses blue, I believe).

Same here in Illinois (red) and Chicago (red or blue). I'm not really sure about those under body lights either. I know a lot of motorcycle riders have lights all around their engines.
Other then rear brake lights I don't think you can have a red light anywhere on a car.

If you check most states it's illegal for you to travel on the highway with those lights under your vehicle on

In NJ the under body lights are illegal on bikes and cars "as they are a distraction"

The lights in the grill are not legal as well, unless your an emergency vehicle. In Jersey Red is Police & Fire Dept, Blue is volunteer responders.

Pretty much every state will not allow red or blue lights on the front of a non emergency vehicle. Guaranteed to get you pulled over by some very bright red and blue lights.

No red is to be visible from the front in any state that I know of. Red is for tail lamps and brake lamps only. Emergency vehicle equipment is a whole other matter.

You could consider using amber bulbs behind the grill
