Humm good question... They seems to be really nice applied to be tape... Maybe 2011 models have chrome pillars ?

If i go near my dealer in the next couple of days i'll stop and take some pictures.

It's protective tape.
My wife's 2011 LTZ doesn't have chrome pillars.
