Has anyone with a 2025 or newer Equinox had issues with their infotainment system?
Dealer replaced mine after they killed the factory unit with an update meant to install a digital garage door remote that was missed. An update GM informed me of by letter telling me to bring it in…
First thing I noticed was the instrument cluster screen’s format was slightly off. The RPMs now redline at 6000 where originally it didn’t until after. There’s now translucent squares behind the info panels on either side.
Since then, the system memory fills itself up and disables all functions. Even the built in Google nav and 360 cameras. After a hard reset, it only takes a few weeks to become unusable again.
Dealer’s tried to fix it and let me know there’s a TAC case with similar concerns, but didn’t resolve it. It’s back at the dealer now for another shot and they’ve given me an identical Equinox as a loaner, and I noticed the instrument cluster’s the same as mine was before the radio replacement.
Does anyone have an instrument cluster that matches mine after the replacement, with the 6000 RPM tick being red?
