You can't, it's not a true HUD. It's only used to display a flashing segmented red bar when a potential forward collision is detected. See the Forward Collision Alert System in your owner's manual.

The wife has had a HUD on all of her (three) vehicles since the late 80s and wouldn't get a car without one. I've never had one in my vehicles, and only very rarely driver her vehicles with the HUD aimed too low for me (yeah, I know it can be reaimed), so I've not missed having it.

If you have a heads up display, when you start the car, you should get a small piece of plastic slowly flip up from your dash that looks like this.

Car Vehicle Speedometer Motor vehicle White


Assuming that happens, you can start adjusting things from a control panel (3 switches) that are located forward of your left knee.

With all that being said, I think the HUD is a new option for 2022.
