So I have a 2020 terrain 2.0. Today I back out at the parkade put it in drive and it's like it's in neutral. It rolls ahead a bit because I am on a downslope but the transmission wasn't engaed. Give it a bit of gas and the engine just revs. After a few more seconds it finally engaged. It was probably 5 seconds or so before it was actually in gear. Then the next few starts from a stop the shifts were sloppy and odd. Rest of the hour long drive it was normal and included a restart.
Anyone have any thoughts on this or know of any tsb's related to the transmission?

At this point drive it, it could be the start of a trans problem.
If it happens again get it to the GM dealer and use your powertrain warranty.
At very least, get your issue documented on a GM repair order and get a copy in hand.
