I took my Terrain through an automatic car wash and after I left the rear windshield wiper was pointed down. I moved it back to position thinking it just popped out. It seems to hold the position fine but when I turn it on you can see there is movement but the blade doesn't move. Any ideas what it could be. Hoping a simple fix that I can do without paying the dealer mechanics. Any help would be great.

You should be under warranty, and you "never" brought it to a car wash.

The rear windshield wiper is not as complicated as the fronts.
Your problem is most likely the wiper arm or the motor assembly.
You will have to take it apart to find the malfunction, one of the two either broke, came loose, or stripped.

The trim on the inside of the lift gate will have to be removed to access the rear wiper motor.
Is your 2020 Terrain still under warranty?

Yes it is still under warranty. I was thinking that I would try that route.
