2020 Terrain Vibration and Lag when accelerating hard
Hi. First post. Just bought a 2020 Terrain w/30k miles. Great shape, low miles. Had it checked at dealer and they told me all good. Once purchase was complete, I noticed a low rumble and vibration when giving it lots of gas to get up a steep hill. I've now noticed it several more times when hard accelerating. BTW, the 1.5L turbo has considerable lag, almost dangerously so, when on the highway attempting to hard accelerate from 60mph or so. I found bulletin 20-NA-227 that might relate to the vibration issue. I'm going to contact a dealer to get their thoughts but my success with the local GMC dealers is spotty at best. Any thoughts out there on the possible issue(s) and how best to proceed? Is it turbo lag and could the turbo also be making noise? Is something like this covered under the power train warranty? Or do I just get the differential fluid changed and all will be well? Thanks.
